  •
  •

WICHITA, Kan., April 21 2012 -- United Way has tornado cleanup volunteer projects available and encourages those wanting to volunteer to report to the United Way Volunteer Reception Center at the Oaklawn Activity Center, 4904 S. Volunteers should be at least 14 years old. Some projects require volunteers to be at least 18 years old. Volunteers are asked to bring any tools they would like to use for the cleanup work and wear clothing appropriate for work, including long pants and closed toe shoes.

Volunteers wanting more information should dial 2-1-1 (United Way's 24-hour information line).
