2006 Needs Assessment Vol. 2: Needs Survey & Priority Study
The Needs Survey gathers data from three sources:
- A random sample of residents of Sedgwick, Butler and Harvey counties
- Community leaders -- elected and/or appointed government officials and presidents/chief executive officers from the area's largest businesses
- Chief executive officers of social services agencies through the area.
The Priority Study is a result of the reviewing needs assessment data to establish priorities for the allocation of United Way resources. This study will assist the United Way Board of Directors and various United Way committees in awareness, planning, funding, coordination and general provision of services to the community.
2006 Needs Assessment Vol. 1: Environmental Scan
The Environmental Scan should help to get a picture of the number of characteristics and the needs of the community based on these already collected data. The report consists of six subsections: Demographics, Education, Economic Outlook, Crime, Housing and Life Cycle.
