Free Tax Filing Services

United Way of the Plains offers three different ways you can file your taxes for free.

Save your hard-earned money by filing your taxes through United Way’s Free Tax Filing Services.

United Way provides free tax preparation services, both online and in-person, to help income-limited households receive the tax refund they are owed. Our services remove the challenges and financial burden of filing your taxes by offering quality, free filing assistance through a network of partners and IRS-certified volunteers. Last year, we filed over 6,500 tax returns that generated a record-breaking $8 million in refunds for our neighbors. We know the tax season is more than just getting a tax return; it’s about taking a step in your journey to financial security.
