WICHITA, Kan., Jan. 25, 2024 – United Way of the Plains is celebrating National Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day with a free financial resource fair. The event takes place on Friday, Jan. 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Evergreen Community Center & Library (2601 N. Arkansas Ave.). Participants can learn about banking options, free tax preparation, utility assistance and other community resources.
