Give Items of Value Explained

For every dollar donated to United Way of the Plains, we create an impact in the community worth $2.09. One significant way we leverage donor dollars is through our Give Items of Value (GIV) program. The purpose of the GIV is to provide a place for nonprofits to shop for merchandise for free to keep their overhead lower and maximize the dollars going to their direct services.
