Gwen Kochman Joins Philanthropy Department at United Way of the Plains
WICHITA, Kan., Monday, Aug. 30, 2021 — United Way of the Plains is pleased to announce that Gwen Kochman has joined the team as an Associate Director of Philanthropy. Kochman started her professional career in Denver, Colorado, with the American Red Cross. She brings more than fifteen years of nonprofit experience to her new position.
Anne Chandler, Vice President of Philanthropy for United Way of the Plains, welcomed Kochman and said, “We’re very fortunate to have recruited Gwen to both our community and to our organization. She brings a love for nonprofit work to her position and expertise in donor cultivation. She’ll be a strong advocate for United Way of the Plains and an asset to the Wichita region.”
Kochman is a graduate of the University of Denver where she earned a Bachelor of Arts, Law & Society with a minor in Communications.
