Haley Button has joined the team at United Way of the Plains
United Way of the Plains welcomed Haley Button to the team today. Button has been hired as the Associate Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) Administrator. She will support area homeless service providers by training new database users, monitoring the tech support desk and submitting reports to the Coalition to End Homelessness in Wichita/Sedgwick County and to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Her work is part of the community’s effort to reach functional zero for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
Button has been with Catholic Charities for over 17 years and most recently managed operations at the Harbor House shelter for individuals fleeing from domestic violence. Her past work includes overseeing the domestic violence provider comparable database for the CoC.
She earned a B.A. in Sociology at Fort Hays State University and has worked in Wichita since 2005.
