Heather Crump joins staff at United Way of the Plains
WICHITA, Kan., Jan. 10, 2022 — Heather Crump has joined United Way of the Plains as the community impact manager for education. Working in partnership with area stakeholders, she is responsible for assessing educational needs and working on solutions that help everyone in the region live up to their full potential.
Crump has held various leadership and mentoring roles with Wichita Public Schools where she has been employed since 2012. A graduate of Newman University, she earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and holds a Master of Science in high incidence special education from Fort Hays State University.
Abel Frederic of United Way of the Plains said that Crump’s decade of experience will help her enhance current programs while developing new and innovative initiatives. “Her passion for excellence and empowerment in education will enable United Way of the Plains to make advancements in this critical area. We’re delighted to add her to our team.”
