Next week, United Way kicks off annual fundraising campaign with breakfast featuring individual whose life was saved by a funded program
Event: Campaign Kickoff Breakfast
When: Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019; Food lines: 7 a.m.; Program: 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
Where: Century II Convention Hall
Program Includes:
• Individual who received life-saving treatment thanks to Project Access which celebrates 20 years of donated healthcare–a program that United Way of the Plains helped start in 1999.
• Announcement of a new statewide health program managed by United Way of the Plains.
• University of Kansas School of Pharmacy student sharing about Operation Immunization which has been supported by United Way for 10 years.
• Announcement of 2019 fundraising goal.
