DONOR DESIGNATION POLICY

United Way of the Plains provides donors the option to give to the general Community Fund, initiatives or specific agencies. Our policy describes how designations to specific agencies work.

As of June 23, 2016, the processing fee is 12% with a maximum of $200 per designation.

We are committed to helping fulfill the most pressing needs of people in this area through agencies and volunteers. As a public provider, our continued success depends on public trust. All of those involved with us, including the directors, officers, and employees, must conduct themselves in a manner deserving of public trust and confidence.
