Background:
The donated toys are intended to help children to “combat boredom, relieve anxiety, and even contribute to their educational development” during the Pandemic. United Way of the Plains received the toys through its Give Items of Value Program’s partnership with the national Good360 and Toys for Tots. Five local nonprofits will be receiving the toys to give out to their clients as part of their normal distribution of food and other items they provide for people in need.
