PUBLIC POLICY AGENDA

Advocating for Stronger Communities

Kansas United Ways mobilize communities to action. From strengthening local resilience to advancing health, education, and financial security, we’re working towards a future where every person in every community can thrive.

  • Protecting and strengthening the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Child Nutrition Programs, including in the Farm Bill and state budgeting.
  • Increasing access to healthier foods by addressing food deserts.
United Ways of Kansas advocate for healthy communities.

FINANCIAL SECURITY

Everyone deserves the opportunity to earn a living that sustains a family and builds security for future generations.
