Hannah Kitchen Joins the United Way of the Plains 211 Team

United Way welcomes Hannah Kitchen as a resource navigator for our 211 Information and Referral Service. Kitchen has previously worked with 211 as a seasonal VITA appointment scheduler, helping income-limited households access free tax filing services. In her new role, she will help community members get connected to resources and services to meet their needs in times of crisis and uncertainty. Last year, United Way 211 helped Kansans in need more than 150,000 times through its free and confidential support. Kitchen brings experience helping clients and families navigate complex needs to find success, having previously served as a private caregiver and direct client support worker. Her experience building trust, identifying barriers, and connecting clients to community resources will strengthen the 211 team’s ability to serve Kansans in need.
