Mary Tucker Joins United Way Team as United for Families Program Manager

United Way of the Plains welcomes Mary Tucker to the housing initiatives team as our new United for Families Program Manager. In this role, Tucker will provide leadership and support to a team of housing navigators who work directly with families experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, helping remove barriers and create pathways to stable, permanent housing. United for Families is a new initiative from the Coalition to End Homelessness, powered by United Way of the Plains, focused on strengthening our community’s response to vulnerable families experiencing housing instability through personalized support, connections to community resources, financial assistance, prevention, and diversion. Tucker has a strong background in case management and workforce development, having most recently served as a transitional housing-rapid rehousing program case manager for The Salvation Army. Her experience working directly with people experiencing housing challenges will be a valuable asset as United for Families launches and grows.
