Are you interested in serving as a Read to Succeed reading coach during the 2026-2027 school year?
Through a partnership with Wichita Public Schools, United Way Read to Succeed pairs volunteer reading coaches with second grade students at local elementary schools who are not reading on grade level. Reading coaches meet weekly with their student for 20 minutes at their school to help them improve their literacy skills. Nearly 300 volunteers are needed. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer reading coach during the 2026-2027 school year, complete the form below.
NOTE: At this time, we are working to finalize reading times for each of the participating schools. Watch your email in August for a notification when you can sign up for a specific school to serve at.
