Tyra Miles joins United Way of the Plains
We are pleased to welcome Tyra Miles to United Way of the Plains as the Domestic Violence Housing Navigator. Miles will coordinate housing for those fleeing domestic violence and human trafficking by working closely with area service providers and members of the Impact ICT – Continuum of Care (CoC) team who aim to make homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring.
Miles is a Wichita State University graduate who is also licensed substance abuse counselor. She has more than 500 hours of specialized victim service training and 16 years of experience providing services to survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual exploitation and housing for families and youth.
