United Way of the Plains welcomes Jose Trejo
Jose Trejo has joined United Way of the Plains as a Resource Coordinator. In his new role he will assist with the planning, coordination, implementation and execution of projects that are essential to the work of the Community Impact team.
A graduate of Newman University, Trejo earned a bachelor’s degree in social work. His career experience includes connecting people with needed resources at Empower and serving as a Lead for America Fellow. Trejo was recognized for his dedication to helping the less fortunate and inspiring others to serve their neighbors with a Light The Way Youth Award in 2022 by HumanKind Ministries. He was honored by the state in 2022 as a resident who has demonstrated talent, drive and service to his community with a Kansas NextGen under 30 award.
